GRS is seeking to hire a new Senior Manager of Strategic Programs & Partnerships within the Strategic Business Initiatives (SBI) Team to build out our new Experience COE. This individual will drive alignment, operational discipline, and the successful delivery of strategic initiatives across Group Medicare. This leader will serve as a central point of coordination across several functions / teams - to translate business priorities into actionable plans and ensure consistent execution, strong governance, and measurable improvements in member, client, and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Program & Project Leadership
- Lead planning, execution, and monitoring of strategic initiatives/programs, ensuring delivery against scope, timelines and budget.
- Conduct detailed assessments of strategic opportunities - including feasibility, resource requirements, financial impacts, and risks.
- Develop integrated project plans, risk mitigation strategies, and executive‑ready recommendations.
- Serve as lead for cross‑functional special projects and emerging business priorities.
Operational Excellence & Process Optimization
- Identify workflow gaps, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks; design and implement process improvements.
- Standardize operational processes across functions to strengthen SLA and performance guarantee delivery.
- Improve governance through consistent documentation, program tracking, and performance reporting.
Experience Improvement
- Drive insights‑to‑action execution to improve end‑to‑end customer experience.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to advance priority measures and accelerate issue resolution.
- Improve member and plan sponsor experience through coordinated oversight of experience drivers and operational touchpoints.
Cross‑Functional Alignment & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as a centralized integrator across Account Mgmt., Operations, Clinical, Network, Product, and MX organizations.
- Facilitate monthly business reviews and leadership updates to increase visibility into performance, risks, and strategic progress.
- Build strong relationships with leaders and teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution of enterprise priorities.
Change Management & Leadership
- Develop and execute change management strategies to drive adoption of new processes, tools, and programs.
- Support team development by strengthening role clarity, building capability, and modeling operational excellence.
The Sr. Manager is a critical member of the GRS Strategic Business Initiatives team and is integral in delivering on our commitment to offer seamless experiences for our members, plan sponsors and across the organization, while delivering outstanding performance results. The ideal candidate is a motivated, self-starter who is interested in leading a high performing team and possesses an enterprise mindset.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategy, operations, consulting, or program management
- Proven experience leading cross functional initiatives in complex organizations
- Demonstrated strength in analytics, process improvement, and project/program leadership
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Problem-solver and independent thinker, with track record of meeting key business objectives
- Advanced proficiency with KPI dashboards, reporting tools, and process improvement methodologies
- Advanced skills in MS Office
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, Medicare, or regulated environments
- Familiarity with STARS, CAHPS, NPS, SLAs, and performance guarantees
- Track record of creating consensus for change and implementing process improvement strategies
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- 10+ years of business-related experience
- Well-rounded business acumen with excellent analytical and project management skills
- Ability to travel up to 10%
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$82,940.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
