Description

Strategic Analysis, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, secure, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure supporting mission-critical operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of complex network environments, with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity, compliance, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in secure network operations, infrastructure modernization, and team leadership within high-demand, regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable network infrastructure across enterprise environments 
• Manage and optimize network performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of mission-critical systems 
• Monitor network activity, identify vulnerabilities, and implement mitigation strategies to strengthen security posture 
• Lead incident response efforts, including detection, analysis, containment, and recovery from network security events 
• Implement and support Zero Trust Architecture and other modern security frameworks 
• Oversee patch management, system upgrades, and infrastructure lifecycle planning 
• Ensure compliance with federal, DoD, and industry security standards and regulations 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integrations, deployments, and operational requirements 
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior engineers and support staff 
• Manage network-related projects, including planning, execution, and resource allocation 
• Maintain documentation for network configurations, processes, and security controls 

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 
• 10+ years of experience in network engineering, IT operations, or cybersecurity 
• Strong expertise in: Network security and architecture; Incident response and vulnerability management; Enterprise infrastructure and communications systems 
• Experience supporting large-scale, distributed environments (thousands of users) 
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex technical operations 
• Active Top Secret / SCI clearance (required); CI Poly preferred or ability to pass

Preferred Certifications
• CompTIA Security+, Network+, CySA+, PenTest+ 
• ISC2 SSCP or similar security certification 
• Additional certifications in network security or infrastructure (e.g., CISSP, CCNP, etc.)
