POSITION: Bird Golf Academy; Senior East Coast Instructor

REQUIRED STATUS: PGA/LPGA Member

OVERVIEW: Bird Golf Academy is seeking a PGA/LPGA Member to serve as a Senior East Coast Instructor. Founded 25 years ago and with 30+ locaations across the USA and internationally, Bird Golf specializes in 1-on-1 and 2-on-1 golf schools, with occasional larger groups. As a company, we pride ourselves on providing "The Ultimate Golf Learning Experience" and expect excellence in everything that we do. We are looking for someone who is passionate about teaching and comfortable teaching beginners to Tour players.

The successful applicant will be expected to teach the same student for 3-5 days at a time, which allows for a personal connection to develop and the probability of return students year over year. Preference will be given to applicants based in the Carolinas and/or Florida. A successful applicant should be available to travel to our other East Coast sites (Bird Golf pays for travel expenses).

Required Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have a sound understanding of numerous golf swing teaching methodologies, be well-versed in launch monitor nomenclature, and proficient in video analysis with good written email skills. Good social skills and the ability to work well in group scenarios are essential.
