Description
A small, nonprofit community hospital serving the Lake Sunapee region of central New Hampshire has an opening for a Primary Care Medical Director. This 25-bed critical access hospital provides a wide range of healthcare services, including 24-hour emergency care, primary care, diagnostic imaging, rehabilitation, and surgical services. As part of a major academic health system, the hospital combines local, personalized care with access to a larger network of specialized medical resources.About the Opportunity:
- 60% clinical and 40% Admin/Director duties
- Medical Directors will carry their own patient panel
- 100% outpatient position
- EPIC EMR
- The average daily patient census is 16-18
- No call
- Not-for-profit critical access hospital with ties to the academic medical center
- The ideal candidate will have an interest in value-based care
- Physicians with Director experience preferred
- The compensation package includes a high base salary, a signing bonus, and relocation assistance
- Dedicated CME time and funds
