Atrium Health Navicent Medical Group (AHNMG) is seeking 2 Pediatric Gastroenterologists to join a well-established team in central Georgia.
Position Highlights:
Well Established --
o 1 physician and 3 APPs, 3 RNs, 1 dietician
Team Based Care –
o Admit to hospitalist service, only be on consultation for inpatient admissions.
o A wide range of pediatric subspecialists are available.
o Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line.
State of The Art Facilities –
o Endoscopy suite, sedation services provided by pediatric ICU physicians.
o Ability to establish a niche area of interest within pediatric GI while maintaining skills in General Peds Gastroenterology.
o Use of EPIC EMR and access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, streamlining clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review, editing, and signature.
Work-Life Balance –
o Open to a variety of practice models for this role.
o 1 week of call per month. Hospitalists take 1st call alongside APPs.
Robust Compensation –
o Relocation payment, sign-on bonus and opportunity to take extra call that is compensated.
o We have a strong performance-based incentive plan that is very favorable to the high performing physician. We offer production + performance (up to 5% clinical compensation) incentives.
Teaching Opportunities –
o Be involved in teaching residents and medical students at Mercer University School of Medicine.
Atrium Health Levine Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital is the regions only dedicated pediatric hospital and one of the largest pediatric providers in the State. Serving Beverly Knight Olson Children's Hospital includes 4 dedicated pediatric operating rooms, 22 beds dedicated to general pediatrics, a 70-bed neonatal intensive care unit, 11 bed pediatric intensive care unit, a 10-bed pediatric intermediate care unit. We have dedicated pediatric critical care and pediatric hospitalist teams and a pediatric outpatient procedural area with a full range of pediatric diagnostic services.
