Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking OB/Gyn Generalist faculty to join one of the Southeast’s most respected academic women’s health programs. With 40+ generalists across two major inpatient centers and 10+ ambulatory sites, this is a rare opportunity to practice at the highest level of academic medicine, with world-renowned subspecialists at your side, protected time to pursue your interests, and a collegial team that is always there when you need them.

Position Highlights
- Structured, sustainable weekly schedule: 3 clinical days (11-13 patients per half-day in clinic, rotating OR days), 1 day on L&D rotation working alongside resident trainees, and 1 full day of protected academic time to pursue your professional interests.
- 32 call shifts per year: 1 weekday call shift per month and 10 weekend shifts per year — shared among a large group of 40+ generalists for a manageable, predictable workload.
- Practice alongside world-renowned subspecialists across six OB/Gyn divisions: MFM, REI, MIGS, gyn oncology, global health — with immediate access to consultation and referral so you can always deliver the best care for your patients.
- High-acuity, high-volume inpatient environment: 5,700+ deliveries annually at a quaternary care center serving a deeply diverse patient population, including complex referrals from community hospitals throughout Middle Tennessee.

Compensation
- Base salary: $330,000
- Relocation assistance: $10,000
- CME: $4,000 allowance | 10 CME days
- All licenses, certifications, and dues covered separately after start date, including ABOG MOC and ACOG dues

Qualifications
- MD/DO with board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Completion of a U.S. residency program required
