Comanche Trace is seeking a mechanic! Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.

General Purpose:
Performs major and mechanical repairs on a variety of gasoline and diesel power equipment; keeps all equipment in efficient and operable condition at all times. Organizes and maintains a clean and safe area and maintenance area; performs related tasks as required.

Essential Duties:
• Inspects, adjusts, diagnoses and repairs mechanical defects in many types of golf course maintenance equipment.
• Performs mower grinding/sharpening and all other aspects of maintaining equipment.
• Ability to work well with other technicians and team, including demonstrating and training team members on equipment use.
• Maintains records of preventative maintenance, repairs made, parts ordered.
• Knowledge of the theory, care and operation of internal combustion engines, hydraulic systems and mowing equipment maintenance such as grinding, sharpening and adjustment.
• Diagnoses mechanical troubles and schedules appropriate preventative maintenance work.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience:
Previous Mechanical Experience is required. On job training and continued education will be provided.

Physical Demands:
Frequently stands and walks; uses hands; reaches with hands and arms; stoops, kneels, crouches or crawls. Occasionally sits, climbs or balances. Regularly talks or hears. Regularly lifts up to 10 pounds and occasionally may lift up to100 pounds.

Environment/Noise:
Ability to work outdoors and perform repairs in the field, ability to work with others in a team environment.
