We are a private medical practice in Smithtown, NY that offers our patients Primary Care Internal Medicine, Integrative/Functional Medicine, Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, Acupuncture and Medical Massage Therapy.

We are seeking a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis.

We offer you an environment with a caring staff, a beautiful office setting and lovely patients who truly appreciate what we provide for them. The ideal candidate is a friendly and knowledgeable professional who is experienced in a variety of massage techniques, possesses a deep knowledge of human anatomy and the musculoskeletal system, is effective in pain relief and works well as part of an integrative medical team. Our patients are evaluated and followed by our medical team of physicians and nurse practitioner.
 
We provide you with patients, a bonus program and guaranteed pay regardless of patient cancellation.   
 
Hours:    Friday 12:30PM – 6:30 PM,  Saturday 9AM - 2 PM

Responsibilities: 
Perform a variety of massage treatments
Maintain accurate records of each session (SOAP notes- we will train you on our EMR) 
Build relationships with patients to assist them with meeting their health goals
Ensure a clean and safe environment
Comply with all applicable standards, rules, and regulations.

Requirements

Hold a current New York State license in Massage Therapy
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Have experience in Medical Massage 
Training in Myofascial Release techniques and lymphatic massage is a plus
