About the Role

As our In-House General Counsel, you will architect and lead our legal strategy, support commercial execution, and strengthen risk management across a fast-scaling global cloud services business. You’ll play a pivotal role in helping ICS move with speed, discipline, and confidence as we expand across regulated industries and strategic technology partnerships.

Requirements

What You’ll Own

Legal Strategy & Risk Leadership

• Advise leadership on legal, regulatory, commercial, and operational risk
• Support executive decision-making with practical, business-aligned legal guidance
• Build legal frameworks that enable growth while protecting the company’s interests
   

Contracts & Commercial Enablement

• Review, draft, and negotiate customer, vendor, partner, NDA, SOW, and services agreements
• Support Microsoft, AWS, CrowdStrike, and strategic partner-related commercial activities
• Create contract playbooks, clause libraries, and approval processes to improve deal velocity
   

Compliance, Privacy & Governance

• Support compliance initiatives across SOC2, HIPAA-aligned workflows, PCI-sensitive environments, and cybersecurity-driven operations
• Partner with leadership on data privacy, information security, and regulated-industry requirements
• Maintain corporate governance records, policies, and legal documentation with precision
   

Employment, Operations & Outside Counsel Alignment

• Provide practical guidance on employment, contractor, vendor, and operational matters
• Coordinate with outside counsel on specialized matters, litigation, regulatory issues, and complex transactions
• Track legal priorities, risk items, deadlines, and escalations with clear ownership and accountability
   

What We’re Looking For

• Licensed, practicing attorney in good standing with less than five years of legal practice
• Based in Dallas, Texas
• Strong foundation in contracts, commercial transactions, corporate governance, and business operations
• Ability to identify legal risk, communicate practical options, and escalate specialized matters appropriately
• Comfort working with C-suite stakeholders, technical teams, partners, and external advisors
• Strong writing, organization, judgment, and follow-through in a fast-paced business environment
• Interest in cloud transformation, cybersecurity, compliance-driven operations, and regulated industries
   

Bonus Points For

• Previous experience supporting technology, cloud services, SaaS, MSP, cybersecurity, or professional services businesses
• Familiarity with regulated industries such as healthcare, finance, or hospitality
• Exposure to SOC2, HIPAA, PCI, privacy, vendor management, or client-related legal matters
• Bilingual proficiency (English + Spanish)
