A Clinical Administrative Coordinator involves managing a high volume of data entry, call center tasks, and care coordination responsibilities.
This position is full time (40 hours / week), requiring flexibility in scheduling across Monday through Sunday. Employees may work either an 8- OR 10-hour shift during standard business hours of:
- Monday - Friday: 4:00 am - 5:00 pm PST
- Saturday: 5:00 am - 5:00 pm PST
- Sunday: 5:00 am - 3:30 pm PST
Schedules will vary based on business needs and will include occasional overtime and holiday shifts.
This position offers flexibility with either a remote or hybrid work schedule, where hybrid employees split their time between working onsite and remotely.
We offer 8 weeks of paid training in the office. The hours during training will be 8:00 am - 5:00 pm PST, Monday - Friday. Training will be conducted onsite.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Under the manager direction, functions as a Clinical Administrative Coordinator in the Utilization Review Department
- Primarily responsible for cases by data entry of clinical into the Facets system, via telephone, fax or computer
- Builds prior authorizations and generates letters while staying within compliance with time frames
- Communicates with providers other departments as needed
- Works independently with minimal supervision
- Data entry of faxes into the FACETs system and telephone requests to meet department key indicator productivity and accuracy standards; maintain minimum of 98% case data entry accuracy
- Provide high level of customer service while communicating with internal departments and hospitals as pertains to performance of job responsibilities
- Takes responsibility for problem solving to achieve key indicator goals

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- 2+ years of experience in a healthcare facility, medical office, hospital, OR managed care setting
- Experience with medical terminology, ICD-10, and CPT codes
- Experience using Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word (create correspondence and work within templates), Microsoft Excel (creating spreadsheets, working within spreadsheets), and Microsoft Teams (communication)
- This position is full time (40 hours / week), Monday - Sunday. Employees must have flexibility to work either an 8- OR 10-hour shift schedule during normal business hours of 4:00 am - 5:00 pm PST from Monday- Friday, 5:00 am - 5:00 pm PST on Saturdays, and 5:00 am - 3:30 pm PST on Sundays. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime and holiday shifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a related environment (i.e., office, call center, customer service, etc.), using phones and computers as primary job tools
Telecommuting Requirements:
- Reside within communicable distance to the office at 2716 N Tenaya Way, Las Vegas, NV 89129
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $18 - $32 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
