This cardiothoracic surgery APP role centers on 24-hour call coverage with hands-on first assist responsibilities across complex surgical cases in a hospital setting.

Practice & Cases

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient cardiothoracic care
• First assist in CABG, valve, aortic, and thoracic procedures
• Manage perioperative care including ICU and step-down rounding
• Adult-only patient population

Schedule

• 24-hour shifts from 7am to 7am
• 10 to 15 shifts per month
• Block scheduling available
• Ongoing assignment with consistent monthly needs

Requirements

• Must be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Board Certified with cardiothoracic surgery experience
• Active Oregon license required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required

• Travel and lodging provided
• Rental car and mileage reimbursement included
