Description
Sea Colony Recreational is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Seasonal, Full-time Beach Lifeguard. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service. Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays if necessary.Key Responsibilities of the Beach Lifeguard:
- Supervises and observes swimmers at all times to ensure their safety.
- Administers first aid to minor injuries such as small cuts and bruises of swimmers.
- Enforces the rules of conduct.
- Checks the first aid supplies and reports needed items to management in a timely fashion.
- Maintains all necessary records determined by the department manager.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Minimum Qualifications for the Lifeguard:
- Must pass a Run and swim test.
- Must have Red Cross Lifeguarding before first day of work.
- Must pass EMR/First Responder certification (offered after hired).
Other Qualifications:
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and applicable health codes.
Eligibility Requirements:
- H-2B visas are not eligible for this position. International J-1 applicants must be currently enrolled as students.
