- Associate Vice President for Advancement
Description
The Associate Vice President for Advancement provides strategic leadership in securing substantial philanthropic support to advance the College’s mission and priorities. This role manages a portfolio of high-capacity donors and plays a critical role in campaign strategy, major gift cultivation, and cross-campus collaboration. The position works closely with senior leadership, serves as a key liaison to the Foundation Chair and Board of Directors, and is a member of the President’s Leadership Team. It is responsible for advancing fundraising performance, expanding donor engagement, and fostering a strong culture of philanthropy across the institution.
Requirements
Master’s degree with 8–10+ years of progressive experience in higher education advancement. Preferred qualifications include a demonstrated track record of securing multiple six-figure or greater gifts, as well as experience with capital campaigns or comprehensive fundraising initiatives. Proven success in cultivating and stewarding major gift donors and managing high-level donor relationships. Mastery of donor management systems and fundraising analytics is preferred.
