Company History

Tampa Family Health Centers (TFHC) was founded in 1984 as a grassroots initiative led by community members who recognized the urgent need for accessible, affordable healthcare in underserved areas of Tampa and Hillsborough County. Built on a mission to provide comprehensive and continuous care regardless of a patient’s ability to pay, TFHC began as a small community-focused organization and has steadily expanded over the past four decades. Through strategic growth, facility expansion, and increased service offerings, TFHC has evolved into one of the largest federally qualified health centers in Florida, now operating multiple locations, mobile health units, and integrated care programs that serve a diverse and growing patient population across the Tampa Bay region.
