Seeking BC/BE Interventional Cardiologist to join NKC Health in the Kansas City Northland (Missouri) in a well-established practice. Work alongside 18 of the most respected and experienced cardiologists in the area (4 interventionalists, 4 electrophysiologists, 10 general cardiologists). This position would involve coronary interventions, including high risk interventions with Impella support and the possibility to grow a peripheral interventional program. No structural. The program is supported by three cardiothoracic surgeons on staff.
Services are provided at NKC Health hospital, a 451-bed, level 2 trauma center with 21,000 admissions and 70,000 ER visits. Hospitalists admit and manage patients. Dedicated ICU for cardiovascular services/open heart surgeries. Cerner is clinic and hospital EMR. Established TAVR program, Watchman, MitraClip, CardioMEMS, heart failure clinic, cardiac rehab program and anticoagulation clinic. NP/PAs assist with hospital rounding, discharge education and weekend rounds.
This position is hospital employed through our physician enterprise, a multi-specialty group comprised of 200 physicians. Referral base includes 70+ employed and 25+ independent primary care physicians in the community.
