An established Neurology practice in Northern Virginia is seeking a highly qualified Sleep Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to provide comprehensive outpatient sleep evaluations and interpret sleep studies across two sleep labs. This position offers consistent volume, strong referral base, and a supportive clinical team.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Care
Conduct sleep medicine consultations, follow-ups, and treatment planning Diagnose and manage sleep disorders including: Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) / Central Sleep Apnea (CSA) Insomnia / hypersomnia / narcolepsy Circadian rhythm disorders RLS / PLMD Parasomnias and complex sleep-related conditions Provide evidence-based counseling on sleep hygiene, behavioral modifications, and preventive care Sleep Testing Interpretation
Prescribe and manage: CPAP/APAP/BiPAP therapy Sleep-related medications and therapy plans as appropriate Optimize PAP compliance and collaborate with clinical staff/DME providers
Team Collaboration
Collaborate with neurologists, APPs, clinical staff, sleep technologists, and nurses Maintain detailed EMR documentation and follow best-practice clinical standards
