Cardiac Surgeon

Sign-On Bonus: $300,000 

Kaiser Permanente - Southern California Permanente Medical Group (SCPMG) is seeking a Cardiac Surgeon to join the us in Anaheim, CA.

Position Highlights:

•        Primary responsibilities include 5 day/week operation + every other day call (this is a non-STEMI center currently), daily rounds and peri-operative management of adult cardiac surgery patients
•        This is a new cardiac surgical program. Rapid growth is expected. .
•        Cardiac surgery has two exclusive OR rooms
•        Volume: Perform 1 surgery / day  in the first year with expectation of growth to 2 surgeries / day
•        Anesthesia and nursing team dedicated to cardiac surgery
•        Self-contained ICU with 24-hour in-house intensivist staff
•        Departmental step-down beds attended by our own physician assistants

Qualifications:

•        Qualified candidates must have a completed an ACGME-accredited cardiothoracic surgery training program and be board certified in cardiothoracic surgery
•        Candidates must possess a strong clinical background and the ability to independently perform adult cardiac surgery

Salary range for full-time openings is $650,375.00 - $980,955.00. Potential premium earnings are up to $184,860.00. Salaries are inclusive of incentives depending on skills and competencies and geographic location. Potential premium earnings are based on location. Annual Salary is determined by longevity with the Group and full time equivalent (FTE) work schedule/effort.
