Job Purpose
As Capability Manager, you will work with UK Commercial Capability Partners and business units to design, develop and deliver learning initiatives that build the sales and business skills needed to achieve UK Commercial's objectives
This role will be accountable for leading on the training experience of UK Commercial employees. There is an expectation that you will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of a strong working knowledge across UK Commercial of the omnichannel approach utilised by the commercial business to engage with healthcare professionals.
In this role, you will...
- Work with Capability Partners and sales leaders to design, develop, raise awareness of and deliver a roadmap of industry-leading learning interventions.
- Proactively share best practice within UK commercial to promote cross-functional working, reducing the need for multiple approaches to the same issue being experienced across business units, medical and commercial / Identify opportunities to align capability interventions across and within teams to avoid overlap, duplication and excessive time in training
- Own, maintain and update all learning content created by the UK Capability Team across all relevant learning platforms, Â working with other content owners and the Training Coordinators to ensure content is current and approved through the right governance platforms (Capability Board/Veeva Quality Docs (VQD)
- Responsible for the tactical deployment of sales capability roadmap for customer-facing roles in our commercial organisationÂ
- Project-manage /Deliver hybrid learning programmes (live in person, live-remote, self-guided) as appropriate
- Support Capability Partners in positioning sales capability interventions within the context of Power Up ambitions for the UK Commercial business, enhancing omnichannel skills application across the business

- Significant experience of leading the design and delivery of engaging and high impact commercial capability programmes
- Sales or medical experience in the healthcare industry
- Proven project management skills and ability to meet key deadlines
- Knowledge and skills in how to develop multi-channel learning interventions and journeys that will contribute to our omni channel learning culture
- Advanced written communication skills as demonstrated in leader guide and briefing development
- Excellent engagement and presentation skills, application of adult learning principles and approach
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred, if you do not have them, please still apply:
- ABPI qualified (highly desirable)
- Experience and evidence of classroom and online learning design creation leading to lasting behavior change
- Influencing decision making at multiple levels
- Account and/or business plan knowledge
- Social media and platform communications experience
- Demonstrable ability to network and build relationships quickly
