Facility in Dayton, OH seeking Electrophysiology APP locums coverage

Rates: $140/hr
Opportunity Highlights
Full-Time Assignment: 10-week assignment minimum, with strong possibility for extension.
Schedule: Monday–Friday ONLY with flexible 8-hour shifts (e.g., 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM). No weekends and no holidays.
Scope of Work: Provide inpatient EP coverage by managing a list of 10–20 patients daily, including consults and follow-up patients being managed for EP conditions.
Collaboration: You will function as an independent clinician, with EP physician review of consults. You will occasionally function as the second APP on the inpatient EP service and will have support from 5–6 general cardiology APPs.
Procedures: No specific procedural requirements, but you must have an understanding of device checks. The capacity to perform device changes would be beneficial.
EMR: The facility uses EPIC for charting.
Privileging: Expedited Temporary Privileges are available, with an estimated timeframe of 45 days.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and round on an inpatient list of 10–20 EP patients daily.
See and independently bill on follow-up patients.
See and present new consults to the EP physician.
Maintain a working understanding of cardiac device checks.
Requirements
Credential: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
Board Status: Board Certified is REQUIRED.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience is required (Cardiology/EP experience highly beneficial).
Licensure: Active Ohio State License is REQUIRED. IMLC will not be accepted.
Certifications: Active ACLS, BLS, DEA, and CSR licenses are required.
