Overview
Prime Physicians is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatric Physician to provide outpatient clinical coverage at VA-affiliated clinic locations in Montgomery, Alabama. This is a full-time opportunity with a consistent weekday schedule, no call responsibilities, and a manageable patient volume.
Position Highlights
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (no call)
- Outpatient clinic setting
- 12–14 patients per day
- 60 minutes for new evaluations and 30 minutes for follow-ups
- CPRS EMR system
- Minimum 6-month commitment (long-term preferred)
Compensation
- W2: ~$354,000/year (~$185/hour)
- 1099: ~$457,000/year (~$220/hour) (3 Month Minimum Commitment)
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient psychiatric care
- Conduct evaluations and follow-up visits
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR
- Collaborate with care teams
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Active U.S. license (any state accepted)
- Recent clinical experience within the last 6 months
- New graduates welcome
- J1 and H1B visa candidates considered
