This position is full-time. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 9:30am - 5:30pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

We offer 12 weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be 9:30am to 6:00pm CST, Monday - Friday. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work with out-patient providers and the clinical team to manage calls related to out-patient Behavioral Health Services
• Assist the clinical staff with case assignment triage
• Handle resolution/inquiries from providers
• Place outbound calls to providers to engage in Outpatient Care Engagement program

This is high volume, customer service environment. You'll need to be efficient, productive, and thoroughly deal with our members over the phone.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
• Must be 18 years of age OR older
• 2+ years of customer service experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a clerical or administrative support background.
• 1+ years of experience working within the health care Industry and with health care insurance
• Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT codes
• Intermediate 1-3 years of experience working with a PC and windows applications, with the ability to learn other sometimes complex systems
• Intermediate 1-3 years of experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel (create, edit, save documents and spreadsheets) and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management)
• Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 9:30am - 6:00pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a call center

• Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
• Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.
• Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $17.98 - $32.12 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
