About the Practice
Retina Associates P.A is a well-established, physician-owned ophthalmology practice known for delivering high-quality, personalized care to our community. With a loyal referral network and a strong patient base, we provide specialist medical and surgical retina care. We are now seeking a fellowship-trained Vitreoretinal Surgeon to join our growing team.
Position Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Vitreoretinal Surgeon to provide both surgical and medical retina services. The ideal candidate is a team-oriented professional with excellent clinical and surgical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage medical and surgical retinal conditions (e.g., retinal detachments, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, etc.)
Perform a full range of vitreoretinal surgeries in a state-of-the-art surgical facility
Participate in the ongoing development of the retina service line
Build and maintain strong referral relationships
Contribute to practice growth and support a culture of clinical excellence
Optional involvement in clinical trials and academic collaborations

Requirements
Qualifications
MD or DO degree with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Ophthalmology
Fellowship training in Vitreoretinal Surgery from an accredited program
Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in Florida
Strong surgical skills and compassionate bedside manner
