Veterinarian Wanted – Mixed Animal Practice | Bay Area Veterinary Hospital & Chesapeake Large Animal Services
Location: Chester, MD
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 4-Day Work Week + Rotating Saturdays
Bay Area Veterinary Hospital is seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our collaborative and supportive team! We are a well-established, privately owned practice serving both companion animals and livestock in a beautiful and diverse rural area. Our practice includes three experienced veterinarians and a fantastic team of skilled support staff. Our small animal clinic is located on Kent Island in Chester, Maryland, just minutes from the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. This area offers waterfront living, excellent schools, and a small-town feel with easy access to Annapolis, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C.. Our large animal practice serves the Eastern Shore of Maryland and portions of middle Delaware, where you’ll find a tight-knit farming community, open landscapes, and the chance to build meaningful relationships with long-time clients.

Requirements
About You:
- DVM or equivalent and eligible for licensure in Maryland
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A team-oriented attitude with a passion for veterinary medicine
- New grads are welcome and encouraged to apply!
- Have a special interest in an area we can expand in our practice offerings: large animal medicine, exotics, poultry, etc.
