SummaryJoin us for an incredible opportunity to become part of our Area Revenue Team as our Area Revenue Manager! While based out of the Hyatt at Olive 8, this Area Revenue Manager may have the opportunity support our collection of Hyatt Hotels in downtown Seattle, including also the Hyatt Regency Seattle, and/or the Grand Hyatt Seattle.

We are seeking a strategic, analytical, and experienced Revenue Manager to lead revenue optimization efforts across Rooms and Events, while also supporting the ongoing initiatives to enhance the commercial performance across our collection of Hyatt Hotels. This role plays a key part in shaping commercial strategy, exceeding key performance metrics, and collaboration of the area's commercial services. The ideal candidate brings exceptional analytical ability, strong communication and leadership skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and a commercially driven understanding of the market demand drivers that influence hotel performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Revenue Strategy & Performance Management
• Develop and execute pricing, inventory, and distribution strategies to maximize RevPAR and RevPAS
• Analyze market trends, competitive performance, and booking patterns to identify opportunities
• Ensure alignment between revenue strategy, sales initiatives, and marketing campaigns
• Provide guidance on Sales Manager leads that fall outside the booking guidelines established by Commercial Services leadership
Forecasting & Business Planning
• Produce accurate short ‑ and long ‑ term forecasts for Rooms
• Evaluate performance against budget, forecast, and competitive set
• Provide insights that support annual budgeting and business planning processes
Leadership & Team Development
• Produce and distribute high ‑ quality, accurate reporting and analysis across divisions, while ensuring consistent system maintenance and data integrity
• Lead effective collaboration with Commercial Services and Hotel Operations teams to align strategies and drive overall business performance
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, curiosity, and commercial awareness
Rate, Inventory & Distribution Oversight
• Ensure optimal room availability and pricing, including but not limited to OTA promotions
• Maintain rate integrity and parity across all distribution channels, proactively identifying and resolving Best Rate Guarantee (BRG) violations to protect revenue and brand standards
• Oversee loading of rates, promotions, and packages in all relevant systems
Group & Event Revenue Optimization
• Review group requests for pricing, displacement, and profitability
• Partner with Event planning to optimize group blocks, pickup, and meeting space utilization
• Provide strategic guidance on business mix and event space revenue opportunities

The salary range for this position is $80,169.00 to $115,300. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, including experience, qualifications, and education.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in hotel revenue management or related analytical roles
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Proficiency with Excel and revenue management systems (Ideas or Hyatt Prio)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast ‑ paced environment
