South Texas Dermatology is a physician-led, privately owned dermatology practice dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Physician Assistant to join our team in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Role Overview
The ideal candidate will have experience in general dermatology (or a strong interest with willingness to train) and a passion for providing excellent patient care in a collaborative clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dermatologic evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans
Diagnose and treat common skin conditions (acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin infections, etc.)
Perform in-office procedures including biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, ED&C, and other minor surgical procedures
Educate patients on diagnosis, prevention, and long-term skin health
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
Collaborate closely with supervising dermatologist and clinical staff
Contribute to practice growth and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
Qualifications
Active valid PA-C license in Texas
Dermatology experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
