Reason for Search: (Program growth)

• Laureate is the primary psychiatric treatment location for the Saint Francis Health System, the largest health system in Oklahoma.  Treat patients within a fully comprehensive and integrated health system, which shares one electronic health record for all locations.  Have easy access to referrals to physicians of other specialties, through the Warren Clinic, for patients in need of such services.
• Laureate integration within Warren Clinic primary care clinics ensures orderly triage/referral of patients from primary care to the Laureate Clinic, with the help of a Laureate clinical pharmacist acting as a care navigator.
• Frequent opportunities for collaboration and referral of patients to clinical trials, via the co-location of Laureate Clinic and the NIMH-funded Laureate Institute for Brain Research (“LIBR”).
• Weekly collaboration and case discussions between the child/adolescent psychiatry team and the child/adolescent psychotherapy team.

• The Laureate psychiatric group is comprised of 19 psychiatrists and 7 APP’s who are spread among Saint Francis Health System’s five main entities

Teaching Opportunity:

• Yes; ability to be involved as volunteer faculty at the University of Oklahoma or Oklahoma State University

Requirements

• Employed position through Laureate
• Board Certified/Board Eligible (Must become board certified within 2 years of completion)
• Primarily outpatient with inpatient coverage limited to the group weekend and holiday rotation
• The evaluation and management of mental disorders occurring in adult patients, particularly mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, trauma and related disorders, and obsessive compulsive and related disorders
