Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant in North Carolina - Full-Time Locums

Join a high-functioning Ortho team at a 222-bed hospital in Hendersonville with full-time coverage and OR assist.

Highlights

• Ongoing full-time locums; until perm hire
• OR assist + rounding, ED consults, and call with surgeon
• Team of 6 surgeons and 2-3 APPs
• Travel, lodging, rental car, and mileage all covered

Practice Setting

• Inpatient-only role at a regional acute care hospital
• Daily census: 4-12 patients
• Epic EMR
• Average 5 OR cases/day

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
• Weekly call rotation with assigned surgeon
• Start date in February

Cases and Procedures

• Assists for trauma, joints, hand, foot/ankle, ACL, and rotator cuff
• Includes ED coverage and surgical call responsibilities

Requirements

• PA-C
• Active North Carolina license
• BLS and DEA required
• Board Certified or Eligible
