Description
Comprehensive Ophthalmologist – Oklahoma City, OK
Advanced Laser and Cataract Center is a well-established private practice in Oklahoma City seeking a comprehensive ophthalmologist to join our team, with a planned start in Summer 2027.
We are a high-volume cataract and refractive-focused practice with over 25 years of presence in the OKC market. Our clinical focus includes cataract surgery (including premium IOLs), glaucoma (including MIGS), cornea, and oculoplastics. There is also an opportunity to incorporate laser vision correction depending on the surgeon’s interest.
We have developed a strong referral network and a stable, experienced team, with many staff members having been with us for 5+ years. The practice utilizes Modernizing Medicine (ModMed) for EMR and practice management.
A key differentiator of our practice is our established office-based surgery suite, which allows for efficiency, continuity of care, and a comfortable patient experience.
This position is being created as part of a long-term transition plan. Our current surgeon is planning to gradually reduce clinical volume over the coming years, creating an opportunity for a new physician to step into an established surgical flow and grow within the practice.
We are looking for someone interested in building a long-term career in private practice, with a partnership opportunity available for the right candidate.
Position Highlights:
Established surgical volume with strong referral base
Broad clinical scope with flexibility based on interests
Office-based surgery model
Experienced clinical and administrative team
Partnership potential
Qualifications:
Board eligible or board certified ophthalmologist
Interest in cataract and refractive surgery
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Desire to be part of a long-term private practice setting
Oklahoma City offers a growing metro area, affordable cost of living, and a great place to build both a practice and a life.

Board eligible or board certified in Ophthalmology
Strong surgical interest in cataract and refractive procedures
Comfortable managing a comprehensive ophthalmology patient base
Team-oriented with the ability to work well with clinical and administrative staff

We’re looking for a good surgeon who is also just a genuinely good person—someone who takes care of patients, works well with the team, and wants to build something long-term.
