We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who is ready to do more than fill a role. We are looking for someone who wants to help launch and build a strong, successful presence in the Waco community alongside our Administrator and key team members.

Position Summary
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions that help patients improve independence, safety, and quality of life in the home setting. This role will also contribute to building a strong therapy program and collaborating with agency leadership as the agency grows.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide skilled occupational therapy services in accordance with physician orders and the plan of care
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other team members to coordinate care
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment goals, safety, and home strategies
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team discussions
- Support the development of a positive, team-oriented culture within the agency
- Contribute ideas and leadership that help establish a successful and efficient therapy program
Requirements
- Current Occupational Therapist license in the State of Texas
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Home health experience preferred, but strong candidates with relevant clinical experience are encouraged to apply
- Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
