Description
*Job Summary* The *Manager, Clinic Operations I - Neurology* is responsible for overseeing daily operations across two Neurology clinic locations (Plano and McKinney) to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with organizational policies, procedures, and standards. This leader drives operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and team performance while supporting physicians and clinical staff in delivering exceptional neurological care. This role requires regular travel between the Plano and McKinney locations. Candidates with prior medical leadership experience - including experience as a clinical lead, supervisor, or team lead - are strongly preferred. *Essential Functions* * Oversee and manage daily operations within Neurology clinics to ensure efficient workflows, patient access, and high-quality care delivery. * Coordinate staffing models, scheduling, and coverage to meet operational demands and maintain service excellence. * Provide direct leadership to clinical and non-clinical staff, including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, performance management, and when necessary, corrective action. * Serve as a resource and partner to physicians and clinical leaders to support practice growth, quality initiatives, and patient satisfaction goals. * Develop, review, revise, and implement policies, procedures, and operational objectives aligned with organizational strategy and regulatory standards. * Partner with revenue cycle teams to oversee accounts receivable processes and support optimal reimbursement performance. * Collaborate with internal departments to resolve operational challenges, enhance patient care delivery, and improve overall clinic performance. * Address and resolve patient concerns in a timely, professional manner, ensuring appropriate documentation and service recovery. * Support and lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards. *Key Success Factors* * Demonstrated medical leadership experience, including prior experience as a clinical lead, supervisor, or team leader. * Strong operational management skills within a physician practice or specialty clinic environment (Neurology experience preferred). * Proven ability to lead, develop, and support high-performing clinical and administrative teams. * Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. * Ability to effectively prioritize, manage multiple responsibilities, and balance team workloads. * Experience with EMR systems required; *Epic strongly preferred* and *eClinicalWorks (eCW) experience preferred*. * Financial acumen with understanding of clinic operations, reimbursement processes, and practice performance metrics. * Willingness and ability to travel regularly between Plano and McKinney clinic locations. *Qualifications* * *Education:* Associate's degree required OR two (2) years of additional relevant work experience above the minimum qualification. * *Experience:* Minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in clinic operations, healthcare practice management, or medical office leadership. * Prior medical leadership or supervisory experience preferred. * *BENEFITS* Our competitive benefits package includes the following - Immediate eligibility for health and welfare benefits - 401(k) savings plan with dollar-for-dollar match up to 5% - Tuition Reimbursement - PTO accrual beginning Day 1 Note: Benefits may vary based upon position type and/or level *QUALIFICATIONS* - EDUCATION - Associate's or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification - EXPERIENCE - 3 Years of Experience
