POSITION SUMMARY
The Inside Sales Representative drives revenue growth by generating, qualifying, and managing leads in the cathodic protection and corrosion control industry. This full-time role focuses on building lasting customer relationships, preparing accurate quotes and proposals, and maintaining timely communication throughout the sales cycle. The representative must demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, integrity, and a disciplined, goal-oriented approach. Self-motivation and accountability are essential to achieving sales objectives. By delivering excellent service and aligning with company values, the Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting the company’s mission and long-term success.
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
1. Generate and qualify new leads through inbound inquiries, referrals, and outbound efforts.
2. Manage all assigned sales leads through the CRM system, ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up.
3. Respond to new leads within two hours during business hours.
4. Prepare and issue customer quotations within 24 hours for standard requests and within one week for complex projects.
5. Maintain consistent communication with customers
6. Achieve monthly targets for number of quotes issued, total value quoted, and conversion rate to sales.
7. Collaborate with team members to align sales efforts with marketing campaigns and service offerings.
8. Ensure customer satisfaction by providing timely updates and resolving concerns proactively.
9. Attend relevant industry events, trade shows, or conferences as needed to build relationships and identify new opportunities.
10. Accurately forecast sales and report progress to management.
11. Continuously improve product knowledge and stay informed on corrosion protection trends and technologies.
12. Support the refinement and improvement of the company’s sales process.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in industrial, construction, or technical product sectors.
Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent).
Familiarity with cathodic protection, corrosion control, or related engineering products is an asset but not required.
Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Current State Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record required
Experience working with team members across multiple functional roles (Preferred)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit or stand at a workstation for extended periods
Light lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be occasionally required for shipping or filing duties
Manual dexterity for keyboarding, document handling, and data entry
Primarily office-based position with regular use of a computer, phone, and office equipment.
Occasional travel may be required for conferences, customer meetings, or industry events ( 10 % of the Year).
Must be able to maintain focus and mental alertness in a busy, deadline-driven environment.
