OverviewNestled in Mobile's Langan Park, the Azalea City Golf Course is a full service 18 hole golf facility that has been serving the citizens of Mobile for over 50 years.
Designed by notable architect Robert Bruce Harris, Azalea City opened in 1957 and is operated by the City of Mobile. Azalea City boasts a rich history playing host to the PGA Tour, the Alabama Open and the Mobile Metro Championship.
The traditional parkland style design provides playability and challenge for all types of golfers. The golf course consistently ranks as one of the best places to play in numerous polls and is an overwhelming favorite for local golfer
Experience Required
Graduation from a standard senior high school, or the successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test, and preferably some golf or sales related work experience.
Essential Responsibilities
Assists in checking and balancing cash and receipts daily; assists in preparation of receipt reports; transports golf carts from storage for use by patrons; returns used carts to storage and recharges; cleans and washes golf carts; registers guests and assigns equipment; collects money for green fees, carts and pro shop items; gives information to guests concerning services and facilities available; answers telephone calls to provide information and assistance; assists in the stocking of pro shop merchandise; monitors weather forecast; maintains membership records; assists with tournament promotions; assists in the maintenance of golf carts; performs general cleaning and facility maintenance duties; performs related work as required
