Emergency Medicine Physician with Cherokee Nation W.W. Hastings Hospital Tahlequah, Oklahoma
Cherokee Nation W.W. Hastings Hospital in Tahlequah, OK, is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician for its level III trauma unit. Practice Highlights
Double physician coverage
Patient department volume – 72,000 annually
Main ED Shifts currently: 7AM-7PM, 7PM-7AM
EHR: Cerner
MRI on site and available for emergent patients
In-house adult and pediatric hospitalist who place admission orders
Primary Stroke Center with in-house consultants daily 8-5 and tele-med remaining hours
24/7 Surgery, OB/GYN, and Nephrology coverage within patient hemodialysis
Case management assigned to ED
Behavioral health clinicians embedded in ED for consultation
24/7 Ultrasound coverage
Teaching opportunities to work with residents, medical students, EMS students, military trainees
NEW $470 M. HOSPITAL OPENING SUMMER 2026 – 31 EM Beds
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive standard shift rate per 12-hour shift.
Annual Commitment: Monthly Minimum: 12 shifts / 144 shifts annually.
BC/BE in EM or BC in FM: $5,000 Lump Sum annually.
CME: $4,000 Lump Sum annually.
Performance Incentive: Lump Sum up to 5% of Base Pay annually.
