Aspirus Health is seeking a passionate and skilled Electrophysiologist to join our exceptional cardiology team in Wausau, Wisconsin.
Practice Highlights
- Support from three EP physician partners and four EP-trained APPs
- General cardiology call is one in 11 weekday nights, with hospitalist support for after-hours admissions and transfers
- No general call required on weekends
- Pacemaker call is one in five weekends, until 5:00 pm
- EPIC EMR
- One of only seven sites in the U.S. for the FDA DEEP trial, combining EP and surgical approaches to treat persistent atrial fibrillation
- State-of-the-art facilities with two EP mapping labs, RF and cryo ablations, and Impella support

o 450 open-heart surgeries each year
o 1,000 electrophysiology (EP) cases annually
o Over 3,000 patients treated at our independent device clinic
- 70,000+ cardiology outpatient visits annually, serving a population of over 770,000 lives
