Description
We are conducting a confidential search for an experienced Quality Control Manager on behalf of a well-established advanced manufacturing organization in the Greater Providence area.
This leadership role oversees plant-wide quality operations in a highly regulated, precision-driven manufacturing environment. The Quality Control Manager serves as the primary quality authority, ensuring products meet all customer specifications and compliance standards from new product introduction through full production.

What You’ll Lead
Plant-wide Quality Control operations
Customer-facing quality communication (NPI through production)
Corrective and preventive action programs
Root cause analysis & containment strategies
ISO-compliant quality systems & documentation
Inspection, MRB, and final release processes
Internal & external audit preparation
Quality team supervision and development
Core Responsibilities
Oversee inspection activities throughout NPI and production cycles
Lead MRB meetings and serve as Chief Inspector
Manage customer complaints, quality escapes, and corrective actions
Analyze quality trends and implement systemic improvements
Maintain and update ISO work instructions and quality documentation
Integrate process control data into inspection and release plans
Prepare executive-level quality performance reports
Partner with vendors to ensure incoming material quality
Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory and customer requirements
Qualifications
BA/BS in Manufacturing Engineering, Business, Statistics, or related field preferred
7–10 years of Quality Engineering or Quality Control management experience
Strong background in ISO compliance and quality systems
Demonstrated experience managing customer quality issues
Strong command of GD&T
Experience in injection molding or composites preferred
Lean / Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) preferred
Proficiency in MS Office
