Were seeking a passionate and driven Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our Michigan Heart Cardiology team in Ann Arbor and Brighton, Michigan. Opportunity Details
- Position Type:Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
- Schedule:Four 10-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
- Location:Ann Arbor and Brighton, Michigan
- Specialty: Cardiology
- Team Size:Collaborative team of 30 Cardiologists and 15 APPs
- Teaching Opportunities:Opportunities to support student shadowing experiences and provide mentorship for individuals pursuing Advanced Practice degrees
- Call Requirements: No afternoon or overnight call responsibilities; rotating Saturday call coverage (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Requirements
- Cardiology experience strongly referred
- NP Candidates must be AGACMP or ACMP
- APPs: Board certified in specialty prior to employment
- Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA license
- BLS certification (must be maintained)/ ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
- Providing direct patient care
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Participating in teaching and mentoring
- Documenting in Epic EMR
- Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
- Supporting community health efforts.
